so much uni work! i miss making beer and (more importantly) time with my wife! they'll be over soon, then it's back on track with making some sweet, sweet golden nectar for myself and others.
what is on the horizon you ask? (what's that...you didn't ask? well, okay i know but it's just for effect) there are a STACK of sexy beers on the way, not the least of which being my raspberry pale ale and my first 'dark' beer - or porter. now it's slowly getting colder i'm excited to make some thicker sipping style beers, rather than the thinner 'throw down' type beers you normally associate with super hot weather. having said that, it's still quite hot right at the moment so the beer i have ready now (the maximum velocity dry ale) will be a superb addition to the party next weekend.
apart from that, there are a few surprise beers that will be making an appearance that will have largely been inspired by my listening to a lot of cheesy synthetic 80s pop music which i LOVE. just think of some classic b-grade 80s music and movies and you're 99% there. i intend on making a beer that inspires guys to grow mullets and moustaches, put their cigarette packs under their sleeves, wear overly tight t-shirts and generally look as sleazy as shit but somehow remain cool, and encourages girls to wear pink and yellow fluoro socks, scrunchies, and shoulder pads under blazers with teased and terribly-blonde-dyed and crimped hair.
yep. get excited.
sexyfuntime,
