so after making a few beers, and with many many more to come, i decided to grab some cider yeast i found at the brew shop, and make a cider! it's been a while coming and i've read a LOT about it. most of them end up quite dry which strips a lot of the sweetness and juice flavour you choose, so i'm going to add lactose and sweeten it up a bit. that, and i'll have to leave it to settle out for at least 6 or more weeks.
it's been called crescent moon cider, because i just went into a competition to go to space; and space is cool. jenna thought of the name. should be a lot of fun, and i've found a pretty simple recipe to follow that adds some tea and honey, so that might be thrown in for good measure too!
i'll update the current brews to add it once it's all done.
cheers,
fletcher.
