i've been in an IPA-making mood for a while now, and with all the excitement for mine and jenna's upcoming trip the u.s, i've decided to name a beer after jenna's favourite animal; the polar bear. we'll be visiting alaska so it makes sense!
it's gonna be FAT!!! basically, it'll be a nice big beer reminiscent of a nice big bear.
for this beer i'll be experimenting with yeast i've been culturing from coopers yeast bottles, and the hops will be similar to those used in the fat yak beer. very excited to make this beer this weekend. check out the recipe in the planned brews section if you're interested. i know no one is. i don't mind talking/blogging to myself though. yep. *awkward silence* so...
i'm about to properly taste my mini minor, i've just bottled the angry princess blonde, and the foveaux street IPA is sexily bubbling away fermenting as we speak. that's right; sexily. i'm bringing sexy back to brewing. not that it was ever there to begin with, but fuck it, i'm bringing it back anyway!
i'm also growing a beard. because i can.
