so after much deliberation on what kind of beer i should make next, and sifting through the 18,000 beers i have on the 'to brew' list, i've settled on an english special bitter.
the main reason for this was because i needed to use the same grain bill as my previous brew (the fletcher pale ale) as i want to do some efficiency tests. this is the best way to do it. what i'll be changing up though for this beer is the yeast and hops to make it nice and british. love me some east kent goldings!
so it was born; the 'innit' special bitter. not the most elaborate of my beers, but by far one of my favourite in the name stakes. it will be a shout out to my great british mates and it will be on tap at the hop and grain if anyone fancies a drop.
brewing this bad boy this sunday. stay tunes for more boring brew day pics and other sexy shit.
