i'm anxiously awaiting to pick up grain that myself and martin ordered online so i can start making more brews. i have about 15 beers that i'm dying to make. this week should see me get some lovely weyermann pilsner premium malt which i can use in some of my 'lighter' lager styles. additionally we bought some vienna malt and wheat malt and crystal malt. lots of grain to cater to many different styles. not just that but as in the picture, i bought a satchel of danstar nottingham yeast. this bad boy is supposed to be REALLY fast with its fermenting...which i like the sound of. faster ferment = drinking beer sooner.
the next one of my up and coming beers i'll be brewing is a very fine and crisp japanese-esque lager (think saporro, asahi style beers) and i intend on making a blonde, and also an indian pale ale (strong!! haha). i'll be experimenting with new adjuncts too, such as boiled rice and lemon zest...should be interesting. jumping right into the deep end with those and lagers!
